Lovage, Levisticum officinale
Lovage is a perennial member of the carrot family with a long history of use as an herb in Europe. It’s grown primarily for its leaves and stems, which taste like a more flavorful cross between parsley and celery.
Lovage prefers full sun and moist, well-draining soil. Plants get 6-8 feet tall with a 3 ft spread.
